I enjoyed listening to your debut podcast. We all have some sort of addiction. I just admitted over the weekend my addiction to books. I believe that’s where my addiction for writing my own stories came from. I’m not published and I’m not certain when that dream and vision will come true, but that doesn’t stop me from entertaining pages and pages with my whimsical and some times satirical stories. All my stories have a hidden meaning. They say it begins with one voice. I have a big mouth, but my creative mind is bigger. I can’t wait to hear more of your podcast because I’m always willing to learn more about the writing life.

Am I addicted to writing? Oh hell yea. I tried to give it up, several times, and all that happened was I lost my capacity to write poetry, a loss that haunts me. I’m onto writing a novel, which is strange and glorious and far more painful that I ever imagined. I’m also trying to make writing my job, with all the pratfalls and danger that involves. And short stories hover out there somewhere, near the edge of my experience. I want to dive back into them because it’s there that imagery and passion can be equal with characters and plot, at least for me…
