What is Scholar 101?

Scholar 101 is a tutoring service for anyone interested in receiving assistance on writing assignments - high schoolers, college students, those in the work force - any and everyone.

What does Scholar 101 entail?

It depends on what you need:

I can assist you in the organizing of a project or projects. If you’re a college student or high school student, for example, you might need assistance in organizing your time efficiently to get all projects done…and done well. If you have a deadline on a project, I can help you to create a timeline that’s conducive to the completion of said project.
I can assist you in the brainstorming of a project - whether it’s an essay, an article, a story, doesn’t matter.
I can assist you in the understanding of major components of a writing piece; for example, if you’re doing a cause-effect essay, we can discuss the mode, the organization of that mode, and the main components of an essay - introduction, thesis, topic sentences, etc.
I can assist you in the revising/editing stages of your work by discussing grammatical, mechanical, and stylistic issues so that you can learn of these problems and better help yourself in future works.
I can assist you in developing your project within the correct format.

How much does Scholar 101 cost?

$20 an hour. Online tutoring assistance will be done either through Yahoo IM, MSN Messenger, Skype, or the CLG-E Chat Room.
